Three-Phase Transport Program Rollout
The transport program is being implemented in three phases to ensure that all eligible girls’ colleges receive the necessary support. In the first phase, buses were provided to 19 tehsils that previously lacked proper transport facilities. These areas include Bhakkar, Sialkot, Chiniot, Kamalia, Malkwal, and many more. The introduction of these buses will greatly benefit students who have to rely on irregular or costly transportation to attend their classes.
In the second phase, more buses will be given to colleges in Nowshera Warkan, Dina, Yazman, Pindi Bhattian, and several other regions by February 2025. This phase will ensure that colleges in less-developed areas also benefit from the transport program. The final and third phase will see the distribution of 32 coaches and 2 more buses to 35 tehsils by March-April 2025, ensuring that students in all areas have access to reliable transport.
