The Government of Punjab introduced another program for the youth of Punjab, this program is the Honhaar Scholarship Program, in which Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif says that she will provide 100% scholarships to the young students of Punjab. This scholarship will be provided to them on a merit basis. Apart from this, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz says that the number of students benefiting from the scholarship has increased from 4,000 to 25,000.

Eligibility Criteria for Applying
The Government of Punjab has allocated specific criteria to apply to the Honhaar Scholarship Program. Those who fulfill the criteria given by the Government of Punjab will only be provided a scholarship by the Government of Punjab through the Honhaar Scholarship Program. - You must be a permanent resident of Punjab province.
- You should be between 18 to 22 years of age.
- You should have a domicile in the Punjab province.
- You can enroll in any university in Punjab province.
- If you want to apply to medical college then you should have more than 80% marks in FSC/Intermediate.
- If you want to apply to the top 7 universities of Punjab, your percentage of FSC/Intermediate marks should be more than 80%.
- If you want to apply to public sector universities, your minimum marks should be 75% for the science department and 70% for social sciences.
- If you want to apply to HED colleges, your marks should be more than 75% for Science subjects and for applying to Arts and Social Sciences your marks should be more than 60%.
- Your monthly income should be less than 300,000 rupees for which you will also have to provide an affidavit.
