Transport Program for Female Students
The good news is that Maryam Nawaz Sharif has started a transport program for female students. Recently announced a major initiative aimed at introducing a dedicated transport program to empower female students across Punjab.
This program is designed to increase access to education for women, especially women who face difficulties in getting to and from educational institutions. Maryam Nawaz has recently announced during a press conference that scholarship will be given to students topping all boards in Punjab and transport will be provided to girls.
These buses will be provided in 60 colleges of Punjab Within the first phase, buses will be provided in 20 colleges of Punjab so that women can get their education easily.
The purpose of the transport program announced by Maryam Nawaz Sharif is to provide safe, reliable and affordable transportation for female students. It will be launched in various areas across Punjab, focusing on areas that are hampered by lack of transport.
These buses will be provided especially in the villages where the population is high and there is no college in the village so that women can easily go to the city to study.

Eligibility Criteria
An eligibility criteria has also been made for the students to benefit from this program, only those students who meet the eligibility criteria will be included in this transport program.
- Age of female students should be between 12 years to 20 years
- Female students are studying in a university or college approved by Punjab Higher Education HEC
